With reference to your despatch No.201 of the 3rd ultimo
on the subject of the claim by the Nestle Condensed Milk Cou-
pany for losses sustained as a result of the piratical attack
on the "Tai-on". I have the honour to state that I concur in
the view that in this case no claim can be preferred against
the Chinese Government.
